Tourism is a reflection of our society and other societies; it brings us closer together, and it tears us apart. It is ever changing, never standing still, like a restless traveller. This is (part of) my journey.

As a traveller myself I am passionate about thought provoking, challenging and creative tourism research. Tourism research spans around the world and across topics, is inter-, multi- and cross-disciplinary. I mostly work within business and geography, but also draw a lot from development studies, political sciences, and anthropology.
