Seminars:
Since September 2013 I have been teaching seminars and marking assignments (essays, literature reviews, multiple choice quizzes, group presentations, posters) within the International Business & Strategy Group at Kent Business School at The University of Kent. I taught the following seminars:
- Global Business Environment (Stage 1) in 2014/15, 2015/16 & 2016/17
- Introduction to Management (Stage 1) in 2013/14, 2016/17 & 2017/18
- Corporate Business & Strategy (Stage 3) in 2015/16, 2016/17 &2017/18
Furthermore, since 2017/18 I am also the primary online tutor for a variety of modules for the newly introduced Higher Degree Apprenticeship scheme at Kent Business School.
I was nominated for a Kent Union Teaching Award in 2016 by my students. Here is some student feedback from the module evaluation over the years:

Guest Lecture:
“The Only Risk is Wanting to Stay – Tourism Development in Colombia”, given at the Tourism Management module (Stage 3) at The University of Kent, Nov. 2015
Field Trip:
Co-supervision of Stage 2 Tourism Management students’ field trip of one week to the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece, May 2014
Activities included visits and talks to a 5* hotel, a family-run hotel, and a publicly funded spa; site mapping and visitor flow analysis at different historical sites; daily debriefing
Qualification:
I finished the formal qualification of the Assistant Teaching Association Programme (now: Associate Fellowship Programme) at the Unit for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (UELT) at The University of Kent in my role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Modules successfully finished, including 2 teaching observations:
- Introduction to Learning, Teaching and the Academic Environment
- Critical Perspectives on Academic Practice
Both modules make up 50% (30 credit points) towards the PGCHE.
I have furthermore taken additional workshops, such as:
